About the Kurdistan Regional Government
The Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) exercises executive power according to the constitution of Iraq and the laws as enacted by the democratically elected Parliament of Kurdistan. The current government, the sixth cabinet of the KRG, is led by Prime Minister Barham Salih, who assumed office September 2009.
