Iraqi visas must be obtained in advance from the Iraqi embassy in Washington, D.C.
The following information is required:
Name on Passport
Citizenship
Date of Birth
Place Passport issued
Passport Expiration Date
The process usually takes 7-14 working days. Fee for processing is $40.00. The visa is good for three months. Applicants need two passport size photos. Multiple entry visas can be obtained only within Iraqi Kurdistan, in person.
Applicants will be notified by email or by telephone once visa is approved and ready. Once notification is received, please take passport (along with two passport photos and $40.00 cash or a check made out to “Embassy of Iraq”) to:
